May-Mey Cornelius, 1620, Cape May,NJ

I would like more information about Captain Cornelius Jacobsen Mey who explored the Delaware River Valley in 1620, after whom Cape May, New Jersey was named. I am curious because I have a Peter Cornelis Mey from that exact time period who was a ship navigator for the Dutch West Indies Co.. This P.C. Mey was the brother of Helena Mey born 1591 in France. He was the son of Adam Mey of France. Helena's husband was Peter Clement Brouwer of Hoorn, Holland and president of the Dutch West Indies Co. Does anyone have information about either Cornelius Mey?
Karen
