Hi Mark,
Was just passing thru here and saw your post. Long time searching still for Alexander's ancestry. I am almost sure that he was among the Scoth-Irish immigrants who hit Boston perhaps around 1717 (no ship's logs are extant). His wife's name might indeed be Kibbe, as the Kibbe family spread out to Enfield also,but I have never seen any proof. A number of Scots-Irish moved to the Monson area to settle when lands became available. Likely Alexander Junior was one of them. Phebe, of course, remarried a BLISS after Alexander died. I was hoping you would have solved the whole mystery by now by discovering an obscure will or deed in Hampden County!! Sad to say that cousin Norm Johnson passed away several years ago, so we are now alone in our search on this line thru Phebe Maxwell Cummings. Good to see you are still alive and kicking.
