Having problems with search engine?
I found this on another message board within GenForum. Pass this on to the other message boards you're reviewing. Perhaps the folks at GenForum will finally take notice! - Jack

Mr. Al Sikes,
President, Hearst Interactive Media
Dear Mr. Sikes:
After several weeks of frustration, and lack of response from the Genealogy.com team,
I thought it time to report this problem further up the chain of command. Many
participants in the message boards at Genealogy.com have never received any replies
after contacting "feedbavck" at Genealogy.com to report that the engine does not work.
The Genealogy.com site contains a vast number of surname message forums for people
to post and reply. Unfortunately, the search engine contained on these sites has failed
and has not been working for some time. If you are unfamiliar with this site and the
search engine, I might suggest you go to the following URL:
http://geneforum.genealogy.com/sikes/http://geneforum.genealogy.com/sikes/ and in the box where it says "Search Forum"
type in the word "Sikes". You will get O (zero responses. Now you would think on a
forum dedicated to the surname "Sikes" where there are 523 messages posted, you
would get some results.
The message boards are rift with complaints and no one at Genealogy.com seems to
want to interact or at the very least, let us know that they are aware of the problem and
are working on it. As a consumer of many of your products, I find this lack of customer
service not only rude but a reflection of your company as a whole.
I would hope that this problem can be fixed as soon as possible. I especially hope to
receive a reply from you or a member of your team to help me better understand the
position of Genealogy.com on this issue. I appreciate your time.
