DO YOU HAVE ANY BARTON'S IN YOUR LINE FROM R.I. WE HAVE LEWIS IN OUR LINE, AND I JUST SAW A WM. BARTON MAXSON IN BROCKFIELD CEM.N.Y. 1816-1828, HIS PARENTS WERE ELDER WILLIAM BARTON MAXSON & LUCINDA MAXSON,
I AM LOOKING FOR MY G.G.GRANDFATHER'S FAMILY,( WILLIAM BARTON B-1807 )WHO IT LOOKS LIKE WAS FROM R.I. THEN MOVED TO N.Y. WE THINK, HIS PARENTS MAY BE ROWLAND BARTON AND FREELOVE STAFFORD BARTON FROM R.I. MY UNCLE WAS NAMED LEWIS, AND I HAVE AN OLD PICTURE OF A YOUNG BOY, NAMED FRANK LEWIS. I KNOW THAT A WILLIAM WENT TO OTESGO CO. N.Y. WITH A BROTHER STUCKLY BARTON ?? MY GRANDFATHER ROWLAND LEROY BARTON WAS BORN THERE IN 1833.THEY MOVED TO MAYVILLE, N.Y CHAUT.CO. IN 1846.
HEARD OF ANY OF THESE PEOPLE?? I LIVE DOWN THE ROAD FROM YOU, NICE AND COOL TODAY. E- MAIL -DON-JOE1@MSN.COM
THANK YOU JOANNE
