Rich - it has been awhile since I have done any work on this line. Correction - Rebecca Maxim (Muxhom, Maxham, Mascim, etc. )is my 3rd greatgrandmother.
I was not aware that her father David had a brother - so any information that you are willing to share would be appreciated.
I have been to Wareham and saw the original entries in the town records of Savory Hathaway and Rebecca Mascim -their marriage and their deaths. The informant for Rebecca's death was Charles Bessie.
It shows Rebecca's parents were David and Rebecca (Bessie) Maxim. The original Wareham Town records also show that David Maxim died July 11, 1877 and that he was the son of Zebedee and Jemima Maxim, born in Plymouth.
