I'm searching for Maxim's, B. Dr. Gilbert Hetherington married Carrie May Brooks who was born in Stark, ME. Carrie's mother was Thursa Maxim and father was Benjamin Brooks. I have letters from 1891 to Carrie from her grandmother Maxim in which the grandmother states she is 81 years old. I also have a letter from 1863 to Thursa from "your friend and Uncle Edward Pease". And one more letter dated 1863 to Benjamin Brooks from his brother Abram Brooks during the Civil War (Camp of the 5th Maine near Falmouth Virginia). I have several other items that lead me to believe Thursa Maxim was related somehow to the famous Maxim Brothers. Anyone out there have any connections?
