The birth information is supported by another secondary source:
French, Harry Dana. Descendants of John Maxfield of Salisbury, Mass. manuscript, New Hampshire Historical Society Labrary, Concord, NH, abt. 1952.
For the marriage, I have 23 April 1815, which is found in:
Jones, William Haslet, ed. Vital Statistics of Epsom, New Hampshire, 1727-1927. Bowie, Md.: Heritage, 1999--page 199,
and in:
Bureau of Vital Statistics, State of New Hampshire, Concord, NH. Index to Marriages Up to 1900. microfilm, Genealogical Society, Salt Lake City, Ut.
French lists references for the family of Jonathan Barnet Maxfield, not for specific events. He lists New Hampshire Vital Records and wrote: See Suffolk County, Mass., wills.
