Glen,
I don't know the marriage dates. I became aware of the existence of these certificates when I asked if they had Ivey "O.J." Maxey and Rosie Irene Ross'cert. (my grandparents) The Texarkana USA Genealogical Society has several thousand marriage certificates for Miller County Arkansas and Bowie County Texas. The Society asked me if I was related to the other two Maxeys.
They did have the original cert. for Rosie's parents (Which I now posess) and it was the first time I knew of their actual marriage date.
I hope someone who is a decendant of these Maxeys will get the word that the cert. are available and obtain them. I will ask the Society if they will share the dates, but I think they would rather not, since a person who already knows that has an easier time convincing them that they are direct family. The Society wants to place the cert. in the right hands.
Glen, I will post you on Ivey "O.J." Maxey's decendants when I get it compiled. My work is very slow, and I am appalled at the lack of information I have about my own first cousins..
