My granfather was Robert Adams Mawson, married to Emma Frances Phelps, who lived on Clementine St. His father's name was Joseph Hollins Mawson, married to Mary. Robert A. had two sons, Alfred and Robert. My father was Robert, deceased in 1992. Alfred was married to Martha, and then to Florence. He lived in Wyckoff, NJ, before moving to Florida.

I do not know about my grandfather being in an upholstery business, although I do recall a lot of stories about a company in Philadelphia named Mawson-Demaney Furs, or John mawson Hair Felt Co.
