Hi Dan: In checking my files, I have a david MawhinneyI b.6-30-1839, d: 11-22-1908. Married to Mary Ann MawhinneyII, They had 9 children and the youngest was Harry Mawhinney, b. 5-25-1889 and married to Elizabeth Ray and they had three children, Harriet, Irene and Phylis (I don't have any dates on them)David M. was married three times, Mary Ann, Maggie Muirhead and Sarah Jane Craft. They had three children, Hattie, Mary Ellis and Chipman which would make them half brothers & sisters to David's & Mary Ann's Children. Chipman, for some unknown reason changed the spelling of his last name to Mawhinnie. Would love to exchange notes if you email me. you didn't mention the name of your great grandmother. thanks June P.S. My mother's side of the family was Mawhinney.
