Samuel Maverick Land from Antonio Flores in Wilson County
Posted by: Tom Fannin (ID *****6384) Date: February 18, 2008 at 15:49:03
  of 191

I am seeking information concerning how Samuel MAverick came into posession of a parcel of land, part of 12 labors of the Antonio Flores survey in Wilson County, Texas in 1861. The land is later disposed of by his wife including a piece which my grandfather bought in 1927. I read a bit about the govenor of Texas giving it to MAverick in August of 1861.
Any help appreciated.
