Hi Jan: Received your nice note today. My sister Claire Myers had the answer I was looking for in the info she provided in her response to the Maverick/Hill connection.
Her response appears further down in the posted messages in her reply to Yvette Bravo. Our 3rd ggrandmother is Orinda Hill, who married our 3rd ggranfather, Waldo May. This is where we connect. Orinda Hill's grandfather Moses Hill married Abigail Maverick. She was one of the daughters of James "Jr" Maverick and Mary Walker. Number 33 of the info I sent to you. As you follow that line on up the chart you can see it connect with Elias "Sr" Maverick, b.1604 with Ann "Annie" Harris b.1613
Bezeleel Hill married Hannah Baker. As you follow the Hill line on down it connects with the May line, #36.
I do enjoy seaching for our ancesters and wish I could spend a lot more time doing it. My mother was Garnet May and she married my father, Guy Myers. When I was a little girl growing up, Mom would tell us that we had royal blood in us. In my teens I thought, sure we do. I wish my mother had lived long enough to really find out the truth that was told to her. There were no computers in those days. She believed it but couldn't prove it.
I have spent some time looking up the info available with the Charlemagnes. There were several. Have fun as you trace these ancesters
