The info I was given has Bartholomeus Mauz 1524-1594 with a son by the same name who lived 1560-1636. The elder came from Berkheim but all the rest from Nellingen. The second Mauz had a son, Jakob 1595-1677. He had a son, Georg 1623-1693. Then came Jakob 1644-1698. He had a daughter, Agnes 1680-1758 who married Hans Joerg Agner 1674-1742. This couple had Christoph Agner 1717-1787. He was the father of Adam Philipp Agner 1752-1825. The line continues on from there to me (among others). I can't verify the accuracy of this--another researcher found it in the Mormon archives in the early 1980s. It had been submitted by Marie Luis Vogt, a descendant of this last Agner. Her family stayed in Germany in 1854 when the rest came to the US.
