I am related to Mautz distantly but mine ended up in Illinois. I'll bet they are related because these are from Nellingen as well. My interest is because Margaret Agner (1819-1891) married George Mautz. They had three children: Philip who married Mary Lipkey, Elizabeth Katherine who married Jacob Galster, and Barbara who married Jacob Doll. At least two of these children were born in Germany. Margaret Agner's brother, Adam Phillip Agner, was an ancestor of mine. He came to the US around 1854 since they had a daughter born in New York in 1855. Some of the Agners ended up in Mississippi by the end of the 1800s--that's my line. Do you think these are related?
