Hi.
We may be related. My first ancestor to arrive in the USA was Daniel Maus/Mouse.He came over in 1743 from Rotterdam and arrived in VA and was from Germany. He died I believe about 2 years later leaving a son named Daniel who we call Daniel II and a daughter named Catharine and his wife Eve Spiegle (Spiggle).Daniel II settled in what is now Grant Co. WV, near Petersburg where a Post Office named "Mouse" was established. He is buried near a place called Mouth of Seneca (Seneca Rocks).A Helen Poe who lives in Kerens,Wv has done extensive research on this line of Mouse's (my ancestral line) and has published a book.I have researched my line from where she left off and have just about completed it.If you would like to compare notes so to speak let me know.
Later
Jim Mouse
