Received copy of your research from Sharon.Beautiful work.I have added it to my archives.
Thank you for keeping your eyes open.
The "Family lineage" regarding this line was not really documented well.I know that the people really existed, and I know that Alice claimed Phillip as an ancestor.
Charles M. Frazer was born in 25 FEB 1788 in Philadelphia, married Francis Heap Maus on 24 June 1809, died 1 November 1876 and she died 19 September 1865 both in Peoria Il and are buried in Springdale Cemetery there.
According to The History of Peoria County Illinois (1880) in an article about a son, DeWitt C. the following details are recounted, "Family consisting of 13 children, 12 of which lived to be men and women. In 1824 or 1825 the moved from Philadelphia to Wooster, Ohio, remaining until 1827, when he [Charles M.] went to Cincinnati, Ohio where DeWitt C. was born July 25, 1829. ...In 1833 [Charles M.] came to [Illinois] with a shingle and lath cutting machine, the first ever introduced."
Frankly, from this information, along with your research -- I am at a loss to see how the connection was made.
Thanks for your help...
