I would like to get in touch with a MAURER/MOWRY researcher regarding the origins of Johann Peter MAURER and his wife, Anna Sophia (perhaps GERMANN) of Philadelphia & Montgomery counties, PA, circa 1751. They are said to have arrived from Baumholder, Rhineland/Pfalz, aboard the Edinburgh in that year and I would like to confirm that with source data and obtain some information on their German origins. Also would like to know if they moved to Augusta Co., VA, where most or all of their children ended up. It has been a number of years since I last persued this lineage so I'm a bit out of touch. I am a descendant of their daughter Sarah who married Enos JONES.
