Lemuel Homer could have been a brother to William Harrison. William Harrison and his descendents are well documented:
William Harrison MAULDIN b. 10/10/1813 Mauldin, SC d. March 9, 1890 m. (1) Lady Nancy ? (DAKINS? DACUS?, AKINS?, DYCUS?) b. ? d. 1848 SC in childbirth m. (2) abt 1848-9 to Charity WELBORN b. 11/11/1823 Anderson Co, SC d. 7/27/1899 Jones Co, MS. Both are buried at the Old Welborn Cemetery off Hwy 533, 2-3 miles N of Soso, in Jasper Co., MS. He had 8 kids by Nancy in SC and 10 kids by Charity in Jones Co., MS - all are reasonably well documented. My GGrandfather, Lemuel Harrison, was by Nancy. But I cannot locate Lemuel Harrison's father. We may be onto a path by assuming that he was a brother to Lemuel Homer.
