Most of this branch of the MAULDINS lived in Garvin and McClain counties of OK after 1900. Various family members lived in Chickasaw Co., MS, Sunflower Co., MS, and Leflore Co., MS before moving to OK.

I found a marriage just this afternoon that could be Jesse Mauldin & Mollie E. Unknown:
Mississippi Marriages, 1776-1935
(could this me them??? His oldest brother lived in this county)
Name: J. O. Mauldin (initial O could be mistaken for A)
Spouse: M. E. Simmons
Marriage Date: 7 Oct 1894
County: Leflore

This fits pretty well with the time frame of their marriage since 1910 showed them married 16 years. Of course, the proof is missing here, but I'll work on it and post to this forum should I find anything to help.
