Janice,

I have searched for years for my great aunt Mollie Partridge, sister to my grandfather, William Jack Partridge. (They spelled it with two t's but since I use one, it is more natural for me to spell it that way.) Mollie Mauldin was born the same as my great aunt, and they were both born in MS. The reason I searched the name "Mauldin" was because someone said that Mollie "was a Molden" and when I did not find her by that spelling, I decided on other spellings and came upon Jesse and Mollie. My grandfather, William Jack and Mollie were born in Choctaw County, MS, and were living with their grandmother Maria Ussery in the 1880 Choctaw County, MS census.(The name was terribly misspelled) I am not positive that these two ladies (Mollie) are the same, but it is the closest I have come to finding her. Perhaps if we both work on this, we will solve the puzzle. If you choose, you may write to me off line <sweat2tears@earthlink.net>
