MRS. A.W. MAUK returned from Lawrence, Kansas, last Friday, where she had gone to attend the funeral of her mother, who died at the home of her daughter, MRS. A.B. BOWMAN, in St. Louis on the preceding Wednesday morning.
CHRISTINA GLADSTONE was born in Scotland more than eighty years ago; on arriving at the years of womanhood she was united in marriage to JOHN HUTCHINSON. Later in life they migrated from Scotland to Greenfield, Ohio. After the death of her husband, some fifteen years ago, she made her home with her daughter, MRS. BOWMAN, in St. Louis.
She left three daughters to mourn her departure: MRS. Judge J.R. GRAY, MRS. A.B. BOWMAN and MRS. A.W. MAUK, of Whitebreast Township.
