Hi Connie,

At this time I do not have an Avraham Matzdorff. I have only found a very few records on my Matzdorffs. My Robert Matzdorff and a Carl Matzdorff came to the US, via the state of Texas, in 1852. This info is from a book on early German settlers in Texas. The next records that I can find is Robert's marriage record in 1874. One of the witnesses on this marriage records is a C. Matzdorff. Then I have the 1880 census for Robert. Not much. Robert dies in the early 1880's. My grandfather had no memories of his father.
I wish there was a connection,
Thanks,
Carol
