Hi Kathy,
Thanks for the email. It is good to talk to you.
I want to know how the lineage works from William Benson Mattox, on. This is what I have ;

1.William Benson Mattox b.1868 , d. 1945/Martha E. Suggs
1.John Anderson Mattox b. 1848,d. 1828/ Mary B. Huckaby
2.John Mattox, b.1817,d 1856,/ Sarah Ingram
3.John Mackenzie mattox,b. 1797 / Mary A. Bradford
4.Who is next? /wife?
5.Who is next? /wife?
6.Who is next? /wife?
7.Who is next? /wife?
ect.......... on to first Mattox of our line.

I wish to know if you have a definitive genealogy to share of our line including William Benson Mattox.I am related through my grandmother, Ava Odell Mattox . She married John Shaw Wells.That would make your Walter, my great gr.uncle?
I have tried to determine this family and I just keep hitting a brick wall.
Does this line come from Wales , or England , respectively?
I wonder if you have information on the Suggs lineage and any stories, pictures to share? All that I have , is the picture of Martha Suggs.Do you also have pictures and stories about the Mattox family to share. I am hoping that you have pictures of old homesteads too.
I thank you for contacting me. When you have a Mattox reunion next time, please let me know, if you will. I went to one when I was about 17, with my granny, in 1976.I would really like to be there with the family.Anything you will tell me about all this is appreciated.
God Bless, -Lisa
