Hi folks. I don't normally do this but I think you will understand why.
Last year a man joined the Matteson Historical Congess at the tender age of 107. Most of us know that Matteson has been spelled many ways over the years including Mattison.
Some of you may have lines that intersect his at an early time before the name changes.
His name is Archie Lee Matteson but he goes by Lee. Lee will be
turning 108 on July 6th. Happily, Lee is in great health for his age
and very alert. He comes down from the Wright Matteson line way back
in the 1800's.
So, what I am asking here is for all Mattesons that read this board to
send him a birthday card. He welcomes all correspondence and will
reply so you do not have to limit yourself to a card.
Lee is an amazing man. I hope you all take the opportunity to send
this oldest living Matteson a card. I am printing his home address
here with permission.
