I was exploring the Gedcoms over on the Worldconnect site and found some interesting possibilities. There seem to be two lines with a Silas as son of Solomon. In some of the lists they seem to merge while in others they do not. I found one in which most of the dates line up as they should and they have Silas in Chautauqua New York. Both lines report Solomon's wife as Rosannah Matteson. In one line it shows Solomon and Rosannah as having the same parents. My wife says that that explains my behavior. Confusing. Wonder if you have ever explored any of this?
