Bruce -

According to records made by my mother, Vera Elizabeth Mattingley Waymire was born January 21, 1907, in Paradise, Wise Co, Tx. She was born to Samuel Leo Bennett Mattingley and Clara Ellen Light. Samuel was born 16 Aug, 1884, and Clara was born 7 Sept, 1879, in Fayetteville, AR. Vera's brothers were Cloyce Augustus Leo Mattingley, William Leonard Mattingley, and George Monroe Mattingley (my father). All of the children were born in Cottondale, Wise Co, Tx. Vera died 30 May, 1958 (when I was 4)in Sacramento, Ca. She is buried in Grass Valley, Ca. She married Fred E Waymire (I have no marriage date). She was also married to a Mike Ford (name also listed as Ford Glass, but that seems suspect to me) and a Elmer Billadeau, but only had children with Fred Waymire. My mother said she got all of the info about Vera from Betty Waymire Hein, your aunt. This is about all of the info I have directly about Vera, but I do have more info on the Mattingley's, if you'd like to have it also, just let me know.
