You absolutely do have the right lineage, Edna was my mother. She married John M. Chambers and I had 2 brothers, Thomas, b 3/3/40 and Johnny Dale, b 12/13/41, d 11/6/2006.
John Alfrancis was my grandfather, and his wife was Favilla Decker. I grew up near their house. They lived in Loogootee, In untul my Grandpa died in 1963. Grandma died inm 1973 I believe. John Hillary and Elizabeth Bellwood were my Great Grandparents. After Elizabeth died, John married Angelina Yoder and did have a second family with her. I have always wondered how it came to pass that a Catholic man and a Mennonite girl married. I've been told that she was a live in sitter and the marriage was to eliminate any sence if impropiety. She was much younger than he was. In the 1940's my Grandparents ran into some bad times and were helped by the Amish/Mennonite community in Martin Co., IN. This is as per my Mother. About the time that I lost my files, I had been in contact with a Granddaughter of John H. and Angelina. She was about my age, 63 now, so you can get some Idea of the difference in ages of John H. and Angelina. My Grandfather never didn't have much to do with the second family, I believe because of the age difference.

Thanks a million,
