Here is what I have on the marriage of Amanda to John S. Bassett. Possibly identifying the minister and witness might help determine which family she belongs to.

John married (3) Amanda Mattingly 22 Oct 1885 in Rumsey, Kentucky, E.W. Mattingly Minister, Place Amanda Mattinglys, Witness J.A. Mattingly and Abram Shutt. She died before 1890.

I would be curious as to how you descend from John S. Bassett. We have DNA results from this family that do not match up to others from this line of Bassetts.
