There is no Travis Mattingly on the 1860 census but I suspect you meant the 1910 census. The index for 1910 does show a Travis and Annie Mattingly in Hancock County that year. He was aged 57, suggesting he was born about 1857. I don't think the name looks like Travis on that census and I tend to think he was a Francis Mattingly.

Annie died on 12-31-1926 in Hancock but I found nothing on her husband. Her informant was a WIlliam Campbell and he did not know the names of her parents. She was a widow so her husband died between 1910 and 1926.
