Bernard Matthews and Elizabeth Duke came separately from Ireland to Sunderland, England. In 1870 they immigrated to the US to Allegheny Co. PA.

Children:
Thomas - b.1842, d.1918 Elk County PA
John - b.1847
Margaret - b.1852 - my ancestor
Edward - b.1853
Richard - b.1856 - married someone named Margaret and I lost him after the 1880 census.
Bernard - b.1860

I have no idea what happened to John, Edward, and Bernard. Thomas, Margaret and Richard came to the US. I HAVE THE CENSUSES FOR THE FAMILY IN ENGLAND AND FOR THOMAS AND MARGARET IN THIS COUNTRY. I have Richard in the 1880 census. I don't know what happened to the others. I don't even know if they immigrated.

I'm really hoping to find descendants of this family.
