Theodore Matt b. 23 Mar 1832 d. 24 May 1916
Johanna Durst b. 20 Jan 1832 d. 30 May 1909
Igelschlatt, Baden Germany
Emigrated with their children in 1881 to Utica, NY:
F.X. Matt 1859-1958
Berthold Matt 1861-1932
Elizabeth Matt BECK or BICK
Alice Matt Bellosa 1873-1957

Searching for info on Mary, Lizzie and Bart and their families.

ALSO Searching for the family of Elizabeth "Dee" Isele 1890-1965 who was "adopted" by the Matt family after her parents presumably died. Her parents were: Richard and Louisa MATT ISELE who were married in Utica on 30 July 1877.
Dee had some siblings who included:
Albert, Karl, Mary Louise and Frederick MATT. According to the family, Frederick was born without arms and worked for the Ringling Brother's Barnum & Bailey Circus in the sideshow as "Freddy the Armless Wonder". He would pound nails into wood using a hammer held with his feet.

As Dee was "family" and never married, I would love to find some of her relatives, and also discover how Louisa Matt ISELE was related to my family.

Any response will be immediately acknowledged and greatly appreciated. You can contact me directly at:
