"Masko" Family & Surname
Can anyone help with the original spelling of "Masko?" Two brothers, Frank and Andrew arrived at Ellis Island October 12, 1903 from Stropko in what is now Slovakia. The ship was from the North German Lloyd line from Bremen to NY.When they were processed through, Frank's name was written phoentically as "Masko" and Andrew's as "Masco." Eventually, another brother, George, emigrated to America. They were separated and lost touch with each other. The fourth brother, Joseph, and sisters Anna and Mary remained at home. Their parents names were Andrew and Anna. All were Catholic. There has been no word since 1933.
Frank's son has searched without success. Does anyone know what may have become of them? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
