I was going to check A. M. Stackhouse’s book on Col. Timothy Matlack today.
Thomas Matlack, son of Guy Bryan Matlack and Sarah Corliss, married Margaret Arbuckle Bonner on 18 October 1877 and they had Emma (Eleanor) Virginia Matlack, born 11 January 1891. She married Fred Hayes.

You should try to get a copy of a small book written by Asa Matlack Stackhouse titled Col. Timothy Matlack, Patriot and Soldier. It contains 29 pages of genealogy that goes from William Matlack who arrived in New Jersey in 1677 to Emma Matlack born 11 January 1891.
