Joe & Curtis
This much I am sure of;
My grand mother Was Elizabeth W Matlack;b.1868;dau.of Franklin and Margaret Matlack;Burlington,N.J.
This is from the 1880 census.
Franklin is listed as age 49 which makes his birth date 1831.
This agrees with what Joe says.
A marriage record list Franlin's spouse as Margaret B Warrington.
10 Nov.1855 at Woodbury Mn,Gloucester,N.J.
It seems that the Matlack and Warrington families are fairly well related.My next project will be to find out who Margaret B Warrington's parents were.My fathers given names were Lewis Warrington (mine also).I alwaya wondered where the names came from.I'm not sure my father even knew.I think that Margaret's father was either Lewis Warrington or Nathan Warrington.Any thoughts?
Lew
