Would this include Judah "Judie" Mathis born March 9, 1812 in Gwinnett Co., Georgia? Her father was William Mathis. Judah married John McInish September 1, 1831 in Campbell Co., Georgia. They are on the 1860 Census of Upshur Co., Texas listed as McIntush, John age 54 (a blacksmith) and Judith age 47, and a relative, Joseph Vaughan age 6. They are living next door to Jesse and Celia Woodard. John McInish is an uncle to Celia C. Malone Woodard. They moved to Anderson Co., Tx and are on the 1870, 1880, 1900 census'
John died 1894, Judah died 1905, burial in Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. On the 1900 census, Judah Mathis McInish is living in the household of Thomas F. Mathis, her nephew. Thomas died Jan. 15, 1906. His parents were James and Elizabeth Keenan Mathis. His siblings were William M., John F., Robert N., and Ada E. They lived in Upshur Co., Tx in 1880. The enumerator for this census was W. M. Mathis. I am interested in your book.
