Hi Rick, I am trying to trace an illusive James Gunerius Mathieson supposedly born in Glasgow 1865 or thereabouts. He immigrated to NZ in 1872 but from Hamburg. The ships manifest states he came from Norway but his childrens marriage certificates say Glasgow.
Any help would be appreciated.
