Helen Elsie Mathias (1913 - 1986) married George Herfurth (1908 - 1992) in 1933, had 2 daughters June Herfurth Koester & Barbara Herfurth McSpirit. Helen's parent's were Frank Mathias (1884 - 1942)& Julia Frieda Geppart (1883 - 1959). (Helen had 2 brothers Edward & Frederick.)Frank's parents were Christian Mathias (1860 - 1944) & Katherine Vollmer (1857 - 1925). We are hoping to find more history about Christian Mathias, his family & links to the old country (?). Please provide any info you think may fit in. thanx.
