Looking for info on Dan Mathias of Decatur,Ill, born abt., 1857 possiably in Pa. and migrated with his parents to Illinois. he married Henery dingers sister in 1881, then in 1898 moved to brownsville,haywood county, tenn.In 1933 when his wife died they had 12 children alive at that time, Earl mathias of Society,Iowa,Mrs. Myrtle Chambers,Mrs.Estella Wateridge,Mrs. Cora Joyner, all of Decatur,Ill. all of the remaining children lived in Brownsville,Tenn. If anyone is researching the mathias family out of Decatur or surrounding areas please contact me A.S.A.P so i can compare family notes. there maybe a connection with all of the Mathias's in email is
