Dear Laverne

I believe that I am descended from Thomas & Mary's eldest son, Jared who married Susan Jones. I believe that their daughter Mary Jane Mathias married my great grandfather William Henry Howard. These details were taken from the IGI records BUT I hold the marriage certificate for William and Mary Jane where her surname is given as Morgans! The details for Mary Jane's brothers and sister in the Mormon records are the same as I have found in the UK but with the surname Morgans. On the certificate Mary's father is given as James Morgans, so the initials are the same as Jared Mathias. Can your family shed any light on this mystery?
I also have a copy of the Mathias Family descendants supplied by the Morman Church here in Nottingham UK containing over 500 descentants of Thomas and his wife, plus other information.
You may like to send your reply to my e-mail address

I am looking forward to hearing from you,

Mo. (moisme)
