Just watched an episode of "Antiques Roadshow" on PBS Sunday 12/17/06---the great, great, great, great, grand daughter of Welcome Mathewson was on, with one of Welcome's rifles, powderhorn and daybook---he was one of the greatest gunsmiths of the time circa 1806---they didn't talk about his name---value of the items was given at $100,000-$120,000 price range. Show took place in Providence RI. Estimator said the items were the finest and rarest he had ever seen.
