6/. ? Most likely married or emigrated?

As the Anderson/ Mathews family have lived for generations in the Smarmore area the local library and family history group must have lots of info on these pioneering families.

My interest in this Mathews family as it`s not my tree, belongs to Phil & Rita. There were up to 19 Thomas Mathews in the 1854 Griffith Valuation for Louth. My husband`s ancestor was Thomas Andrew Mathews born 12 May 1825, Louth, Louth. Phil & Rita very generously gave me their family tree to see if we were related?
To make a connection, we need to fill in a few more blanks, there are just so many Mathews families in Louth and Irish records being what they are, it`s hard to come up with proof.
All the Mathews families, being one or two T`s must be related in Louth to the Mathis family. Trying to prove it is like hitting your head against an Irish stone wall.
The more research put on the net about our Mathews families and their branches could help bring connections to light and a lot of researches have their own Mathews sites on the net. A huge amount of Irish emigrated to Canada, America, England, New Zealand and Australia. There is a lot of people out their looking who would like to make a connection.
So if you have any info on the above Mathews family, please make contact, we would love to hear from you.

God bless,
