Dear Gregg,
Am a Mathews/?Matthews/?Mathis desc. of Wm. H. Mathis (see surname spelling variations) of Pike Co., KY. Am in desperate need of help. As best as I can figure his people came out of North Carolina. Am seeing naming paterns of Thomas, Reuben, Wm. H., and probably James.
It is possible that they came out of Surry Co., N.C. and am at a major deadlock. I could really use your expertise on this family matter.
Would you please be so kind and e-mail me:
Buckskid2 at centurylink dot net

Thank You,
Mary
