My Matthews family tree is published with Ancestry.com, should you care to visit it. I also have set up a DNA Matthews site in the hope of locating a distant Matthews Relitive from Europe.
My US family has been traced and verified to William & Jane, Joanne Mathews/Matthews of New Haven, Ct. 1684. Prior to that, we are led to believe we have decended from another William & Em Matthews, of the UK London Area 1600's. Only time will tell if we will be able to make a connection to the missing Europe Mathews/Matthews.There is a posability we are also connected to the Matthews/Nash Family of 1600's England their daughter Elizabeth Matthews, who married a William Tuttle, and migrated to New Haven Ct. in the 1600's, and their great-grand-daughter Eunice Tuttle, married into my Abner Matthews Line in the 1700's.
