Hi Mathews Family researchers! I am looking to see if anyone might have some details on my second great-grandmother, Martha Jane Frances Mathews, b. 6/28/1851 in Chattahoochee CO., GA, d. 4/11/1907 in Hunt CO., TX. She married my second great-grandfather, Jacob Wilkins Cobb, on 1/28/1868. Both Jacob and Martha are buried in Commerce, Hunt CO., TX.
At least one possible lead was that her parents were a Daniel Mathews and a Rebecca Nicholson, but in looking through the Nicholson family, I cannot find any daughter named Martha for Daniel and Rebecca. Might anyone here be able to shed some light on Martha?
