I`m looking for information regarding the parents, grandparents, and siblings of a Charles G. Mathews, married to a Sarah A Layton, who resided in the Howell area of Monmouth County and Brick area of Ocean County NJ. I believe Charles parents were Garrett Mathews and Lydia Emmons both born abt 1786-1790. I believe 2 siblings of Charles were a brother, Joseph, married to a Margaret Layton, and sister Sarah, married to a Charles Johnson. I believe Charles, wife Sarah, and parents Garrett and Lydia are all buried in Bethel/Southard Methodist Cemetery in Howell, NJ. There are no dates for Garrett and Lydia. Charles died in 1895, said to be age 91. Wife Sarah died in 1898, said to be age 79. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
