kyle, re: your inquiry about donald matherson:donald matherson was my g grandfather.i am still researching this family line.i know that donald came to the u.s. from scotland.as of yet i have no dates.all i know right now is that donald matherson married eliza cameron first. i don't know if there were any children born of this marriage or not.she is buried in rocky mount cemetery in sylacauga al which is talladega county.donald then married my g grandmother, cordelia ann holmes.the children of this union were: betsy ann matherson/minnie matherson/mary matherson/eliza matherson/daniel lafayette matherson (my grandfather)/robert matherson/thomas matherson/william matherson/alexander matherson/doss matherson.i believe all were born in talladega co al.notice the R i put in matherson.upon arrival in new york city the customs agent put the R in matheson.thereafter it was matherson.donald matherson died in bryce hospital in tuscaloosa, al (no date) and is buried in the old bryce graveyard. when he died cordelia did not claim his body and he was buried in a paupers grave.i can give you much info on my grandfathers children(including my father, clinton mack matherson) if you are interested.also as i get new info i will try to pass it along to you.if you will, please send me all info you have on the cameron/holmes/matherson family.thanks so much, linda
