Looking for information on birthplace, parents, and siblings of Ernest Aude Hanson, b. 26 Mar 1908, d. 6 Mar 1944 in Yuba Co. CA.
Death certificate lists Oklahoma as birthplace, but he may have been born in Texas. Also states he had resided in California 6 years, and in Yuba Co. 3 years.
Second wife was Evangeline (unknown maiden name). Family stories say Ernest & Evangeline had a baby girl born "a few months" after Ernest died.
Family stories say he had a brother named Roy and a sister named Cassie, and both lived in Odessa,Texas. There was another brother, possibly named Elmer who was shot and died "when he was young", I don't know where.
First wife was Cora C. Mathes. They married sometime before 1930, probably in Oklahoma. Children Bertha Lee and Clifford Gene. They lived in Maud, OK prior to divorcing and moving to CA in about 1937.
It may be that Ernest's mother may have surname "Mathes or Mathis" from a second marriage.
I am unable to find documentation on this man prior to his death. So any information about him or his family will be welcome.
