death certificate for James Mathers of Montrose
Posted by: Kerrin Frey (ID *****2100) Date: November 27, 2006 at 03:40:26

James Mathers was my great great grandfather and he was buried in the Rosehill Cemetery in Montrose, Scotland. He was a Librarian and Teacher. He was a Presbyterian--his son George was a Minister. On his tombstone it says he was born in August 1803 and died in November 1863. (3 children are also buried there. Ann Neddrie his wife immigrated to Australia and is buried in Swan Hill, Victoria.

Can anyone help me with information on how to obtain his death certificate. I hope it would tell me his parents names.

Thank you

Kerrin
