Thomas Clelland MATHERLY was born Apr 04 1852, in Mercer County, Kentucky. He married Margaret Jane GABERT on May 12 1870, in Washington County, Kentucky. Margaret was born Dec 1848 in Kentucky. Thomas & Margaret had the following known children: 1) Adaline "Adda" Feb 1870, 2) Thomas Dec 1884, 3) Vernon "Vern" Jun 1885 and, 4) Cecil Aug 1892.
Thomas Clelland MATHERLY was the son of Claborne/Claiborne MATHERLY and Tabitha INMAN. Claborne was born circa 1809 in Virginia and died Feb 24 1876 in Washington County, Kentucky. Tabitha (INMAN) MATHERLY was born Aug 04 1812 in Washington County, Kentucky and died Apr 23 1879 in either Mercer or Washington County, Kentucky. Both are buried in the Bruner Graveyard, on the Mercer/Washington County line, Kentucky.
Thomas probably hooks up the the line of Israel MATHERLY or one of his brothers, but I have no information to connect you at this time. Israel is my direct line, but I have no connection to Thomas.
