For those of you who may have thought that I had died, I am very much alive. I apologize for the way-too-long delay of the follow-up to BY THE WATERS OF DEEP CREEK. I have no excuse, except for a lack of motivation.
I am now, however, in the process of forming a non-profit organization called The Matherly Legacies Preservation Project. It will have a dual purpose of helping to preserve some of the Matherly & related family cemeteries in Mercer and nearby KY counties, as well as FINALLY getting the update published, possibly on-line. This effort will be greatly assisted by utilizing a matching state grant.
The title of the 2nd book has been changed to THE MATHERLY LEGACIES: BY THE WATERS OF DEEP CREEK REVISITED. For more info or contributions ($ and/or material) regarding the this project, please contact me at this site. Thanks!!!
